Are there different types of tournaments, and how are they scored?
Yes, there are four types of tournaments:
- Most Rounds: Score is based on the number of rounds or bets.
- Win/Stake Ratio: Score is based on the sum of win/stake ratios for qualifying rounds or bets.
- Max Win/Stake Ratio: Score is based on the highest win/stake ratio for qualifying rounds or bets.
- Turnover: Score is based on the sum of all bets within the qualifying rounds or bets.
- Most Rounds – If available, the score is determined by the number of rounds or bets. In sports betting, this calculates the actual number of combinations or bets for a qualifying system bet. For instance:
- A Trixie system bet with three selections scores 4.
- A Double system bet with three selections scores 3.
- A Patent system bet with three selections scores 7.
- Win/Stake Ratio – If available, the score is the sum of win/stake ratios for qualifying rounds or bets. For example:
- A player has two qualifying rounds: one with a €1 bet resulting in a €1.5 win, and another with a €1 bet resulting in a €0.2 win.
- The score is calculated as 1.5/1 + 0.2/1 = 1.7.
- Max Win/Stake Ratio – If available, the score is based on the highest win/stake ratio for qualifying rounds or bets. For example:
- A player has two qualifying rounds: one with a €1 bet resulting in a €1.5 win, and another with a €1 bet resulting in a €0.2 win.
- The score is calculated as 1.5/1 = 1.5 (ignoring the round with €0.2 win as it is less than 1.5).
- Turnover – If available, the score is calculated based on the sum of all bets within the qualifying rounds or bets. For example:
- A player has two qualifying rounds: one with a €1 bet and another with a €3 bet.
- The score is calculated as 1 + 3 = 4.
